Remote Area Volunteering Program

The remote area of Nepal is behind in some basic sectores. Tour and Trek Nepal finds out the site and takes you to the place where their is must need of the volunteering aid. Basically, constructon of schools, awareness programs, medical volunteering,women empowering programs, health and sanitaion related volunteering programms can be conducted in the remote region of Nepal. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1340m).

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1340m).

“Tour & Trek Nepal” representative will receive our guests as upon their arrival on Tribhuvan International Airport here in Kathmandu. Afterwards, we will drop off at hotel where you can take a shower, get fresh and take a rest. Later on in the evening, we will have a welcome dinner hosted by Tour & Trek Nepal which will introduce us to Nepalese cuisine with typical Nepali cultural programs around. Further discussion about our future program will also be held on this day.

Day 02: Reach to our Volunteering Destination

Today we reach to our volunteering destination. Getting their may be via land transportation or by air. It depends upon the region where we are conductiong our volunteering programs. Overnight: Teahouse/lodges/homestay

Day 03-05: Involve in Volunteering Program

From day 3 to day 5 it will be our main program of volunteering. We will be engaged in our volunteering progam as proposed. During this duration we will get to know the vilagers, their problems and various other aspects. We get to share smile and happiness with them too. The duration of our volunter program can be extended upon your request. Overnight: Volunteering region.

Day 06: Back to Kathmandu

Today we get back to Kathmandu. We drive around 8 am in the morning. As upon our arrival we check in to hotel and later on we get around the thamel area to see the night life in Thamel. Overnight: Kathmandu.

Day 07: Departure to Kathmandu airport as your flight Schedule.

Finally, your voluntering program in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to take just an amazing moment’s, smile and happiness with us and we get the same. So a representative from Tour And Trek Nepal will drop you to the airport before 3 hours of your scheduled flight. We wish you for your safe and happy journey. Good days ahead!

Getting to Nepal - You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu when you first come to Nepal. Our travel representatives will receive you at the Airport and then transfer you to a hotel in the capital city. That will be our first task after you land in the country. The itinerary then follows in the coming days.
Visa information in Nepal - Once you arrive in Kathmandu, your first job or task will be to consult the Department of Immigration in Nepal regarding your Nepal stay. Our team members will help you in completing the necessary works regarding Visa and the procedures of extension, if needed. If you are planning for an extended stay in Nepal, say more than three months or around a year or so, then you need to extend your Visa through the Immigration Department. This won’t be of any problem as we will handle the government-related activities.
Trek permit - There are some restricted trekking destinations in Nepal which require special permission from the government of Nepal or a government agency for the foreign trekkers. They also need to pay a fixed royalty to trek some of the selected places in Nepal. Some of the restricted trekking destinations like Upper Dolpo Trek, Mustang Trek, Rara Trek, etc. require special trek permit for the foreigners. However, there won’t be any such problem as we, the company, will look after the legal formalities in securing the trek permits for the clients. It will be our responsibility to secure trek permits for you.
Altitude sickness - As most of the trekking destinations in Nepal exceed 4000 meters of altitude, high altitude sickness is one of the common problems faced by the trekkers. High altitude sickness can be very fatal and dangerous if you are not prepared for the same. Some of the trekking destinations like Upper Mustang Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek, Langtang Circuit Trek exceeds and nears around 5000 meters of altitude with chances of high altitude sickness. However, if you are aware of the problem and if you take special measure, then altitude sickness can be avoided and will not be much of a problem. As we have experienced trekking guides and a team of experienced hand, altitude sickness will not be a problem and even if it occurs, it will be handled well by our team members.
Medical Kit - Whenever we embark on a tour package or itinerary, we are fully prepared of the possible consequences or the untoward incidents, and hence our team carries a separate medical kit. Medical kit is of immense help and importance during long tours and trek as you never know what will happen next, even regarding the health of the trekkers. Availability of medical kit is very paramount as it will help to provide immediate medical attention to the needy person. Problems of high altitude sickness, shortness of breathing, dizziness, etc. are the ones frequently encountered during the trek. Presence of medical kit helps to resolve any of such problems and provides immediate relief and medical attention to the person who is in need for the same.
